Patients in hospital will also be among the first to see the film, with special screenings being held at the in-hospital cinemas run by MediCinema, including Guy’s and Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals in London, the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, the Royal Hospital for Children/Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool.
Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good arrives in cinemas Friday November 21, 2025.
One in four hospital inpatients experience significant anxiety. Being able to stay in their beds or wheelchairs to come to a MediCinema vastly improves their experience of being in hospital, reducing that anxiety and stress. We are so grateful to Universal Pictures and to all the exhibition partners taking part for their support. By donating all the income from these screenings, they will be giving the opportunity for thousands more NHS patients to benefit.
Colin Lawrence, CEO MediCinema
Wicked: For Good celebrates friendship, courage and the power we all have to make a difference. We are delighted to partner with MediCinema to honour that spirit and to share the film’s magic.

About Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good
Last year’s global cinematic cultural sensation, which became the most successful Broadway film adaptation of all time, now reaches its epic, electrifying, emotional conclusion. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the final chapter of the untold story of the witches of Oz begins with Elphaba (Oscar® nominee Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Oscar® nominee Ariana Grande) estranged and living with the consequences of their choices. When a girl from Kansas comes crashing into their lives, they will need to come together one final time, and truly see each other, if they are to change themselves, and all of Oz, for good.
