We Provided Close To 43,700 Patient Experiences In 2020!

Last year MediCinema provided close to 43,700 experiences for patients in NHS hospitals. 43,700!
While our cinemas were suspended in March 2020 and hospitals were at their busiest – and with doors shut to visitors – our very small team ensured that:
- 31,204 hours of films were viewed for free by 11,023 patients on our new dedicated bedside channel
- Ten new glossy ‘Moments that Matter’ Disney film activity packs were designed with over 27,000 delivered to children in thirty two hospitals and fifty four hospices
And – in spite of everything – we were even able to welcome over 5,365 patients to watch movies in our cinemas both before lockdown and for socially distanced screenings since.
We are proud of what we achieved in 2020, and thank all of our supporters for helping to make this happen.
